Dear Friends,
AAPIO proudly presents monthly talk in Sept about a topic which is so relevant in present pandemic by our own distinguished AAPIO physician.
Vaccine hesitancy is a barrier in achieving large scale community vaccination as is evident during the current pandemic. Part of the fear people may have about vaccines relate to vaccines and the nervous system.
The aim of this talk is to discuss what is known so far about both the influenza vaccine and covid 19 vaccines and their neurological side effects.
The following topics will be covered:
- Influenza vaccines and GBS
- Covid 19 vaccines and CVST
- Other rare associations of neurological side effects and commonly used vaccines
